Project - Bubbles by NancyDamiano posted 02/20/12 Galleries: Scrapbooking I love this Miss Caroline line by My Mind's Eye. The bright colors and patterns scream boardwalk, fair and rides to me. I like how the dark gray wood color as a base, makes the brighter colors in the line pop. The stars and winner's ribbon made the perfect embellishments for my page. I added a few more ribbons out of a variety of patterns and a circle of stitching as the focal point. The photos and the story are of my nephew at the boardwalk last summer. Sometimes it's so hard for him to be the youngest in the group. He does alot of waiting around for the big kids to go on rides that he's too little for. On this day, we bought him a bubble gun to distract him. His wonder at how it worked and how happy such a simple thing made him, was something I wanted to remember. TFL! |
