so very cute, and I liked that you used "left overs" to complete the album

Great job!! It's so nice to see a project come together so quickly.

Wow! This is great. I always think about doing a project this way. I'm just going to have to do it soon with a few ideas I have. Thanks for posting this inspiring project. (Looks like you had a great time with the exchange student, too!)

That was me who suggested it. I was hoping to see you post it. It looks awesome. Love the album, love how you added an envelope at the end. Great job!!

I posted a query in the forum for ideas on doing a fast, easy and inexpensive album for a French exchange student that stayed with us for 15 days. One of the peas suggested doing an album a la Stacy Julian. Here is the result (thank you by the way!). It took me about 6 hours total to put together and cost me about $25 for album (from Target) and prints. All of the supplies were part of my stash that I made myself use….mostly K & Company's old Basic Grey, Life's Journey's, and Postmark lines. The embellishments are what I had on hand. Doing this album was really easy and fast….very freeing to MAKE oneself use what you have. I love, love, love using my CM products, but I just might do an album like this again to use up old stuff!

Inside the front cover, in the envelope is a note to our student. Inside the back cover is another larger envelope for post cards and extra photos that I slipped inside 4x6 photo sleeves and put on a ring. Thanks for looking!
