Project - No Place Like Home by scrappylassie posted 07/24/11 at 02:21 PM Galleries: Stamping, Cardmaking As soon as I read the challenge for “Cozy” I knew this was my stamp. Have had it for awhile and needed a project. One of my bestfriends just moved to a new home. This will be her card to welcome and congratulate her. Stamped D. Morgan's outline stamp with archival permanent black ink.Then colored the design with my watercolor pencils. Lightly blended and shaded picture with brush dipped in water. Mounted it on matted cardstock. Added buttons and trims for oldfashioned look. Just seemed to feel cozy as a new home should be. I apologize for poor photo and tech difficulties. Still learning!! |
