Having a theater kid myself, I know how challenging it can be to get good shots during a performance!! Very nice job!

I am so impressed with the difference a lens can make. Camera body too! I've had my dSLR (Nikon d80) for almost a year now, but this is the first ballet I've tried to shoot. I had only planned on photographng the dress rehearsal, but ended up photographing a performance as well (was told the “no photography” announcement did not apply to me! :D). I am still amazed that the majority of these photos came from the back of a 1000 seat auditorium. I rented an 80-200mm 2.8 for the weekend.
Next, I need to find time to cull them, do some very basic editting (mostly cropping and straightening) and get them on a DVD to share.
