Okay so I did a whole little series on why I scrapbook. I couldn't just come up with one page. So imagine that each of these pages answers the question with "because..." and then my page title. You see, one of the reasons I scrapbook is because no one can take these memories from me. They're mine. And I always want to remember moments like the one captured here. Looking at these pictures reminds me of the happy days of two little brothers just being brothers in an every day kind of way. These are the things to remember -- the every day things that I love. Nothing extraordinary and yet it is. If I didn't have a place to put it and look back on it, I might not remember how special it was. I love being able to see it. And I love that I wrote how I felt about it when it actually happened.<p>

This was a fast and easy page that really focused on the pictures and nothing more. <p>
(1) I began by lining up and resizing my photos across the top of the page.<p>(2) Then I chose a paper from the "They Must Be Angels" digital kit to use along the bottom. I added a texture over this paper.<p>(3) And, as a final step, I added brushes and journaling.<p>The photos along the bottom are exactly the same as the ones along the top. I simply flipped them, and added a layer mode to blend them into the paper. They're meant to take the place of an embellishment on the page and they add balance and weight so that the top photos are not just "floating."
