Project - 365 theme: 525,600 minutes

Love this! So cute!

That song is a part of my DNA after the year my daughter spent singing and dancing to it... even in her sleep. Thank you for the reminder to use lyrics in layouts. I am definitely stealing this for my PL intro.

I SOOOO love this spread! I need to do a year in review layout now. Thanks for the inspiration. :)

I can't describe how much I love this. I'm about to send off a photo order, and I think I'll add a few extra photos for a year in review page, too.

Love all the numbers and the photo collage too! Great spread, Lexi!

Awesome two-pager! LOVE the photo collage!

If you have ever seen the musical RENT you might recognize the title. It's so true…all these little minutes in the year making up your life. It's the little things, that everyday things, that we remember the most! That's another reason I love scrapbooing…I get to relive these memories every time I glue down a photo :)

I very rarely do a 2 page layout. But when I do I always make it 8.5 x 11 size and most often one side is more of the title/journaling side. I took some of the lyrics from the song to use as my title and the journaling, which I typed on vellum and stapled to the side. I tried to have the two pages match without being too matchy-matchy. Does that make sense? So I pulled papers with neutral colors and those with numbers. They happened to be greys and some red. I added the aqua color and went with that color scheme.

I made the left side less busy, with just journaling and a title, because I knew the right side would be filled. I printed off one 2.5 x 2.5 instagram for every month last year. I used my roller date stamp to stamp the month on vellum and then either stapled, sewed or secured the date with a paperclip to the photo it went with. One photo in each row is raised with dimensional adhesive. I dug around in my embellishments and added a few here and there that might represent the time of year the photo was taken…an apple for the start of school month, an acorn for fall, snowflakes for December. I had to avoid putting too much down because it is already such a busy page with all the photos.

I think it would be fun to do this as almost a recap at the end of each year :)

That's my “365”. Thanks for looking!
