Sigh. These crazy boys. Love ‘em. Even when they won’t keep their hands off each other for two seconds so mama can get a decent photo ;) If ever there is a time to use pink on a boy layout, this time of year might be it. And well, I couldn't resist the new valentine collections so I just went with it!

The title is something I like to say to the boys and when your title includes the word “crazy” I didn't try to keep elements on the layout nice and straight. (then again I never really do.) I love the color and font in the aqua thickers and layered them on top of wide polka dot washi. The wood veneer alphas were glued on top of a label from the True Love collection by Basic Grey that was cut in half.

I can't get enough arrows and these vellum ones from Twine & Ink seemed pretty appropriate for a valentine layout. I grabbed a wood veneer hashtag to add to the “sigh” sticker (hee hee). I used the February patterned paper by Crate Paper to cut out a lace heart background from my cameo. Actually, I messed up the cut, but I liked how it ended up. I flipped the paper over to the “xo” side and ran it under the die cut. A few hearts got some gold glitter paper treatment and other had some washi running under them.

I couldn't decide where to place my journaling. When that happens I sometimes opt for a hidden tag. I cut the inside out of a tag from the Crate Paper Accent Cuts sheet, typed my journaling and then stitched it to a shipping tag that slips out from behind the larger photo grouping. The larger photo and the small middle one are raised with dimensional foam adhesive. It not only helps them stand out, but allows the journaling tag to easily slip in and out.

I'm loving the grid notes for layering and did that here behind the photos. The Farm Girl washi tape from October Afternoon had perfect colors to go along with the valentine themed papers.

Thanks for looking and happy valentine's day :)
