I love everything about this! Love the colors, the stars, the arrows...nice!
great colors, this is a palette I haven't seen before - love it! Pinning!
This is great. I know you used only neutrals but the way all the elements work together, it still feels like it has a ton of color. Gorgeous.
what I really love about this is all the details and the time that it took to put all of those details on this page. the punched stars, with the paper behind them, and the stitched box around them. nice details.
love those cut out stars!
you just always get it right. LOVE the textures on your page!
Project - color theme: to the stars & back
This boy. He has my heart. He asked if I would ride the elephants with him, even though he is old enough to ride alone. I hope he always asks me to ride with him :)(I realize this won't be the case, but let a girl dream!)
My color theme page was neutrals. I started off trying to use more browns and creams. I just couldn't make it work. So I switched to white and grey. Much better.
The grey/white star paper from October Afternoon was a natural fit with the saying on the Dear Lizzy die cut. I ran the paper through the Cameo to cut out some stars and then backed with Studio Calico vellum. I wanted to use the veneer ampersand so I blocked out the die cut “and” with Jenni Bowlin washi tape and stickers. I used some America Crafts POW paper to add sparkle to the word “stars” and to punch out some stars to staple randomly.
The vellum pocket was a perfect neutral item to hold my typed journaling, with a few added embellishments attached to the front. Where the background papers connect was a fun place to add arrow, enamel dot and veneer chevron embellishments leading to the title.
Thanks so much for looking!
