I never even thought of using VersaFine Black (my favorite ink for stamping images). It's a pigment ink with some of the attributes of a dye ink or vice versa so I didn't think it would work. Before this week is over, I'm going to have a good list of inks that work.

Project - SOF09: Joseph's Coat Technique Challenge by kkaisu posted 10/21/09 at 02:55 PM Galleries: Stamping, Cardmaking Used ditress inks to stripe the white cardstock. Then stamped and embossed the Basic Grey rooster. Brayered black onyx Versafine over the paper and wiped off the bit on the image. Could not get the black to be totally black, tried a couple different black inks and letting it dry between coats, still no luck. I think if I would have used glossy paper it would have worked better. But I still love my rooster. |
