This 2 page spread is for my son's 2nd year album and includes the pictures from his birthday party. I loved the background paper from My Mind's Eye because it already had banners and flags printed on it! I also loved the blue/red/yellow colors. I printed all the photos in a sepia color to keep the layout from looking too busy- plus, I wanted the flags to stand out. The accents came on a 12x12" sheet to coordinate with the paper and the journaling was done with a typewriter. I also used a play on words in the title just for fun!
