I am totally guessing here.....
With this 'skin smoothing' technique.... you still need to paint in the nostril area, and you should use a faded edge brush, not the sharp brush when painting the 'grouped' layer to let blur show through. The opacity of that layer should be no higher than 50% as well, or you end up with the 'porceline doll' look. If you are using PS, send me the file sooc, and I will send it back to you in layers so you can see for yourself. If this isn't the technique your using, send it anyway and I will send it back so you can 'examine' it.
Just keep in mind that less is more. Thanks for sharing!

I love having nieces that don't mind me practicing PS on them! I went a little overboard cleaning up the skin…but I am trying to learn one new thing and practice, practice, practice. I then used Heidi Swapp (House of 3) mask.
Any advice….web tutorials out there that I need to know about???
