awesome tagS!!!<img border='0' src='/graphics/mbicons/smilies_v2/thumbup2.gif'>
These are terrific, Mimi. I've also feen following along with Tim's tags, but I haven't made any. I'm thinking of a marathon session after the holidays.
I wonder why BoBunny put a microphone in the hand of a vintage Santa. I saw a wonderful vintage image where Santa had a pipe in his hand. I didn't buy it because I didn't want a Santa that smoked. LOL. Maybe the BoBunny image was altered to make him a non-smoking Santa?
Lovely tags! Great take on the plaid technique.
Very well done!
PS. I always thought that was a pipe in his hand?
Beautiful tags Mimi! The plaid looks wonderful and so does the other too. Love your stamping and the different colours. Like you, I've been looking for a vintage type Santa and saw the Bo Bunny one. First I thought it was great, then I saw then microphone. Why on earth did they add a microphone to the Santa? It was a great idea to mask it out.

My interpretation of his tags. I didn't have any of the particular stamps that he used. The little girl had a border and I didn't want that, so I masked the border out. I have been looking and looking for a vintage Santa and got this one yesterday from Bo Bunny, and didn't realize until I got home that he had a microphone in his hand, so I masked that out. Unfortuantely, now he's a one arm Santa. I think I am going to try and find an appropriate tree to put nexr to him, and stamp it and cut it out. One the next one the two snowmen are a piece of broken jewelry. The last one was actually more work than all the others. It has crackle and Distress Stickles icecycles but you can't see them. They are all obviously different from his. I love the plaid technique. It took me a few tries to get it somewhat right though.
