Project - {Egg} Stravaganza 2012 by amyheller posted 04/16/12 Galleries: Scrapbooking I loved creating this page. Probably because the photos were from really recently, but also because I am IN LOVE with the colors from the new Studio Calico, Take Note collection and the Crate Paper, Pretty Party collection. They work so lovely together and the feel has a super-Springlike tone that I really enjoyed working with. The yellows, aquas and greens were simply ideal for my Easter-themed layout for this week. For my background, I took some of my favorite pieces from Take Note's 6x6 paper pad and layered them somewhat sporadically underneath my photos to give a casual layered feel. Then I tucked in a few of the adorable white polka dot envelopes from Maya Road within the layers to hold my journaling. Again, they work beautifully together and really add to the Easter whimsy I was looking for without being too literal. I hope you like my take on our Easter-theme! It was super fun to create and I hope you found some good ideas to get you going on your next Easter-themed project! TFL! ;D |
