Project - Be You by Margrethe posted 07/13/12 at 05:27 PM Galleries: Scrapbooking I haven't settled into my scraproom just yet. Yes, I scrap. Yes, I use my stuff, but there's a whole closet full of boxes and boxes lining the wall where I intend to put an Expedit. So when I found an unopened Cocoa Daisy box, I was intrigued. Turns out it's May's kit: Graffiti Bridge. And I friggin' LOVE IT! So I sat down and scrapped…! This is based on a page sketch by Simple Scrapper*. If you're a member, you won't find it yet, but it will be released as a freebie once the assignment is due and goes live. I LOVE the Francy Pants Design's SUBWAY ART paper. I'm considering getting more of this. I used some of the paper and was inspired by what I didn't use for the jouraling on the right hand side. The photos is of my 12 year old niece, Instagrammed by my sister. She's such a cool kid and I want her to stay true to herself and who she is. The “Right now”-arrow is from Scarlet Bird Designs‘ “Memories” die-cut set. The chevron badge you see on the full-layout photo is from Paper Play. * The Premium Membership at Simple Scrapper provides skills and shortcuts to help you simplify and find more meaning in your memory keeping. |
