Project - Themed Layout: that's why

Here is my more literal interpretation of the theme...my intention is to turn this into some type of album/mini album...chance are though, that won't happen :p The journaling reads:
• because the cacaphony of throughts and images in my brain need to be organized
• because there are few things more satisfying than successfully capturing and preserving one of the multitudes of moments that make up our day to day life
• because someday, I want to be able to prove to my grandchildren that they come by their funny little traits honestly
• because there is no better way to memorialize future blackmail material
• because it completely warms my heart to see my children looking at pictures of themselves as babies, I love that these pages spur conversations between us that might not have happened otherwise
• because scrapbooking makes me appreciate my life even more that I already did...it makes me think more fully on seemingly meaningless moments, makes me value beauty, form and
function to a greater degree, allows an outlet for overwhelming frustration and overwhelming joy, reinforces a love for art, writing and photography.

STEPS:
1. Open digital paper and print on white cardstock (I just crop out the approximate size I'll need for the layout - in this case, about 8" x 1" to save on ink)
2. Open a new 11" x 8.5" canvas. Add journaling and title. Open photo template from Template Crazy kit, change color to blue, and add "e" in white on top. Print whole thing on white cardstock.
3. Cut printed digital paper into strips, round corners as shown, and attach. Add brads to serve as bullet points and rub-ons as desired.

CREDITS:
white chardstock: Bazzill
digital paper: Overjoyed kit
template: Template Crazy
rub-ons: American Crafts
studs: Scrapworks
fonts: District Thin and AL Keyboard ("e")
