<p>So many people have here have inspired me to try new things...new techniques for my photos, layouts and journaling. I can't remember who did this first (or who I *saw* do this first) But I know it was Joanna Bolick who made me love the look of fabric as a backdrop for a portrait. Since I'm not a sewer, I don't have a huge fabric stash but in a pinch, patterned paper works wonders! I used the same Pink Paislee paper for the backdrop of the photo and for the left side of the layout...talk about easy coordination!</p>
<p>Without all of the inspiration here, I never would have tried 12 x 12. Or, used this much PINK (Pepto Bismol, anyone?) on a page. Or been forced to buy a die cutting machine. Or. Or. Or. You get the idea! You know what though? I love it! </p>
