Project - Summer theme: Summer 2012
Galleries: Scrapbooking, Stamping
There's no better time to break out lots of color and bold patterns than when you're scrapping summer photos! The inspiration for this page began with the July printable by Hello Forever. The happy, vibrant colors were a perfect match for my warm-weather snapshots. I used the smiling sunburst as the center of my grid, positioning other printable cards, Two Peas digital cut files, along with my photos + chipboard frames from Crate Paper around it in a loose grid.
To keep things crisp and clean, I cut the Two Peas digital files (the camera and the summer sunburst) from plain white cardstock, embellishing them with simple silver studs from Basic Grey. The sunburst is actually a 3x4 card that says “Summer Bucket List” but I cut off the bottom part of it to better fit into my design. I filled the sunburst with Hero Arts number stamps indicating the year.
