Even though I don't use them all the time, I love pocket pages for documenting moments that may have photos taken at different times, or lots of bits of information - like quotes, journaling, or graphics - that I want to include. The pockets help divide my page so each element has a “home”, making the design process really simple.

On this spread, I've chose to use a standard 12 x 12 pocket page on the left, with a 12 x 11 divided page on the right. I like having various page sizes in my albums and it makes because it helps differentiate the spreads as you are flipping through albums and makes them so much more interesting!

Since this layout focuses on a realization I had about happiness, I'm not using photos from one event, but rather several photos over a span a time that help convey the page theme. The journaling speaks about following your heart, so I've made the obvious choice to use repeating heart graphics throughout my design. I've included several of the Two Peas cut files and printables, as well as products that feature hearts.

On the pockets with cut files, I also cut the background paper away so the design is see-through. I'll likely keep the back side of these pockets open (not inserting anything there) to keep the airy look. In the upper right pocket, I've added white text rub-ons to the interior of the pocket and they peek through the die cut.

On one pocket, I stitched vellum hearts across the exterior of the empty pocket, which also helps the spread stay light and airy. I've also divided one of the 4x6 pockets on the right to include a confetti sequin pocket. I've contained the sequins in the area by adding a vertical line of stitching down the middle of the pocket. The circle “yes” is adhered to the outside of the pocket to allow the sequins to move around freely.

Thanks so much for viewing my layout! I hope you'll find inspiration and ideas to use in your own Project Life albums!
