I randomly downloaded some free copic/watercolor photoshop brushes…I started playing…sooo fun!!
Here are my tips/directions:
1.stamp your image.
2.then create a new layer and load your copics…use the “lighten” blend mode…don't worry about your brush strokes too much…play with blending different colors and use lots of circular patterns.
3.after you have your color like you want it…then apply a watercolor artistic filter…adjust like you want it..i didn't use any darkening (shadows) and very little texture)
4.then apply a gaussian blur (i used around 4-7)
5.FINAL STEP…this creates the magic!! RE STAMP your original image over the top in black…it somehow makes all of your “mistakes” dissappear.
I used photoshop elements 8 and Mo Manning digital stamps…nativity.
