Journaling reads:

When Cooper first started talking he called me Mama. I loved to hear his sweet voice call to me, ?Mama, mama.? He got older and he transitioned from Mama to Mommy. If anyone referred to me as Mama he?d angrily correct them with a fist pump and foot stomp, ?She?s Mommy.? My heart broke just a little. Clearly he was/is growing up and no one was going to call me Mama anymore. Just recently Cooper has intermittently started calling me just ?Mom.? He doesn't always do it, but when he does I feel sad. It?s the end of an era. He?s almost four now and he?s clearly growing up and doesn't need his mommy as much as he used to. Why can?t I be mama forever?
