I?m not sure how old I was when she gave it to me, but I couldn?t have been older than 10, since I?ve had the blanket since living on Violet Lane Way. My Grandma used to always crochet us Christmas presents: scarves, hats, blankets, etc. I?m approaching my 40th birthday and she?s approaching her 90th, and I still have the blanket she made me as a kid. It?s one of my prized possession My sister has hers too, it has the same patterns, but the colors are reversed. We both cherish our blanket. I?ve taken it all over the world with me, from an Army tent in the Balkans and my college apartment to Panama and Costa Rica.
