I absolutely LOVE stamps. :) Seriously a cathartic practice.
For this layout, I used the Playful Animals set from Hero Arts and the Heidi Swapp Clocks. Both are acrylic sets which allows you to see where you're stamping. I'm all about avoiding mistakes.
For the clocks, I used Versamark ink and just background stamped the clocks and then printed my journaling. Gives the impression of my son's daily schedule with all those time pieces in the background.
For the uber cute animals, I stamped on orange, green, yellow, and blue cardstock and then colored in parts of the images with markers. Brings me back to good old grade school homework. Relaxing, rewarding, and fun!! Because I stamped on cardstock the open stamp images look great and the markers add the perfect touch. It's a great way to step up your stamping (and it's also super quick and easy).
I inked the "everyday" chipboard word with the blue stamping ink pad. Another easy and quick way to use stamp materials in a different way.
And for the "All Day" letter stamps, I just stamped on a strip of cardstock, trimmed each letter, and rubbed the edges with brown stamping ink.
Viola! Add some lovely pattern paper, a few photos, and your own touches and you're good to go.
