I have found that I like mini things: mini brads, mini alphabet stickers, mini jewels. So for this take on the "Mini's" theme I chose to focus on mini photos and mini tags. I typically use one large photo and then several smaller photos when I do a two-page spread. This helps the eye to focus in on the large photo, but the smaller photos help to support the story.
I also stamped a bunch of die cut tags and then tied them to the punched border. It took a little bit of time but really wasn't that difficult.
I also added a bunch of stamping to this layout and used a couple of stamping techniques: embossing the camera stamp, using both dark and "kissed off" ink for the "caught on film" border, and I created my own pattern paper by repeating a background stamp several times. I really love how stamps take a layout to the next level. :)
