Project - Seasonal Layouts : Summer at a Glance 2008 by JenGallacher posted 07/15/09 Galleries: Scrapbooking <p>When I saw the digital Year-at-a-Glance template from Erica, I knew that I wanted to use it to capture our last summers activities. It was a perfect way to share multiple photos and loads of journaling.</p> <p>To change her template to fit my need, I deleted her "year" layer and then added the title "SUMMER" behind the "at-a-glance" layer. The nice thing about digital templates is you can discard what you want or add elements that you'd like. For instance I added the digital heart from The 365 digital kit to the center of the "2008" title. I also eliminated some of the text boxes, rotated the page and added my own text to fit around the black digital flower brush.</p> <p>To complete the layout, I printed both pages out on white cardstock, trimmed them leaving a small white border, and then attached them on dark brown cardstock with tan photo corners. A few tags and buttons complete the look. Very easy and very satisfying completing an entire's summers activities!</p> |
