I am finding that I love hybrid layouts. I can start with a digital page and then mount it on traditional cardstock and layer and layer to my heart's content.
For this layout I started with the digital lined paper, a couple of frames and photos, stitching, and a word brush. The rest of the items are traditional products. It's just a fun way to get exactly what I want.
A couple of techniques:
* I layered the title. I used the "moments" word brush, an embossed treebark circle, an acetate "beautiful" word, followed by a circle tag to frame everything.
* Instead of a traditional punched or cut border, I used a scallop stamp to create a border on the blue photo frame.
* I tripled stitched the brown dot pattern paper for just added texture. I like A LOT of texture on my layouts.
