Project - Valentine Theme: Always Adore You by JenGallacher posted 02/01/13 Galleries: Scrapbooking For this layout, I started by gathering all my recent Valentine collection purchases. Then I pulled out items I wanted to use. Originally I thought I would just use the grey, pink, and red colors but I had some blue patterned paper on my desk and I liked the pop of color it adds. So I used a non-themed paper to add a touch of blue to this layout. I tucked a few little things into the top of the layout and then machine stitched around the perimeter with teal sewing thread. I hung the photos and a hand cut banner from twine strung between two buttons. I cut the title with my Silhouette machine. Then I masked off an older Technique Tuesday stamp and stamped the image in gray directly onto the patterned paper to serve as my journaling. Little embellishments all over the page like the twine and gems give it some texture. |
