Missed this before - now I know why. I was away from home. I absolutely love everything about this! Wonderful!

I like the message here too---again I always forget the computer!! I was looking to see where you got the stamps! lol! But I then like how you made the clever idea of stamping the trees to look like newspapers! The torn edges just add to this card!

Well done and TFS!

Wonderful card! The trees turned out great!

Love your 'piece', love the message! I may have to use this to create my own... At my house it would be framed and hung on the wall above the recyle bins. TFS

That printed page stamp gave those trees some terrific texture. I love your card--colors and the wonderful torn piece with the sentiment and birds. TFS. Daria

Galleries: Stamping

I was at a bit of a loss what to do for this challenge and then, when I used this background tree stamp, in another challenge, this idea just popped into my head.

The Tree stamp is by Hero Arts, it was inked with Colourbox Frost White and kissed with a printed page stamp, by Whimsy Stamps, that had been inked with Versafine Black ink.

The birds on a branch are by Dawn Hauser for Inkadinkado.

The black words and the recycling symbol were printed on the computer and the red stamp is a clear stamp from the bargain bin at Michael's (studio g, I'm guessing).

I'm not sure what it is…can't figure out how to use it as a card, too big to be an ATC so, for now, I've just mounted it on a piece of black cardstock and I'm calling it ‘a piece’.
