I like the outcome here! SO glad you stuck it through the challenge b/c the results are so pretty! I have a punch around the page punch too--I have to try and use it as a stencil and see if it looks this good!

Like the colors also and the butterfly is perfect!

TFS! Good job!

Very BEAUTIFUL! Why didn't I think to use my butterfly punch? The whole card is perfect!

Gorgeous card and great use of a punch. Love the glittered butterfly too!

great idea to use punch for a stencil, very pretty butterfly

Love this in brown. What a cool way to make a stencil. The butterfly looks awesome.

Galleries: Stamping, Cardmaking

This is my third attempt to produce something for this challenge. For some reason my previous attempts seemed to be dogged with accidents and failure.

This time around I attempted something very simple to cut down on the opportunity for catastrophe to strike.

I made my own stencil using a Martha Stewart, punch-all-over-the-page, punch. (picture2)
Then I adhered it to a piece of water-colour paper and sprayed it with 2 different colours of Walnut Antiquing ink.

I used Pearl Ex gold pigment and spray adhesive to create a gold tone border on the front of a kraft card stock card base. I trimmed down the water colour paper to fit and stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink and copper embossing powder, and attached a narrow green and gold ribbon to the piece then attached it to the card front.

I pulled a butterfly that I had punched out and glittered up previously, from my stash,
attached a few colour co-ordinated gems to the butterfly and attached it to the front of the card with glue dots.
