Love the story on the ties, your family is just beautiful, everyone of them. The pictures are fantastic and you must be so pround of your sons. I wish them all the best on their missions.

Every single oe of your kids are absolutely gorgeous and you can see it radiating from inside out, not JUST on the surface. Beautiful pictures for sure! Love the story about the ties too.
Love the photos of your missionaries. Good Luck to your newest one. May he be blessed. The Lord will provide and take care of his own. I love hearing missionary stories. My sons didn't go on missions and it made me sad.

Project - Our Family Pictures by Saltymom posted 10/20/10 at 08:02 PM Galleries: Photography My good friend took these pictures of our family a few weeks ago. My older son just returned from a 2-year mission for our church and my second son just left for 2 years for his mission. I'm thrilled with the way they turned out! The last 5 photos are of my missionary son who is going to the Ukraine for 2 years. There is a story of the open suitcase with the ties. I thought it would be a cute idea to use some vintage suitcases for the pictures since he's “packing his bags” and leaving for two years. My neighbor had a few vintage suitcases and then I remembered I had one of my Dad's suitcases from when he went on his mission to Hawaii in 1949. Well, my son and father are very close, so I thought that it would be very appropriate to use his suitcase. When we opened the suitcase, there were all these really cool ties in there that had been my dad's when he was a missionary. They are 50+ years old! So, in the picture with the “thumbs up”, my son is wearing one of his grandpa's ties and all of Grandpa's old ties are spilling out the top of the suitcase. My dad got all teary eyed when we showed him the picture. |
