Project - New Specs by vverstrat posted 02/05/13 at 10:08 AM Galleries: Scrapbooking I have been wanting to scrap the stories of my children jumping head in to the new experience of wearing glasses….a family curse that we like to use as a great way to express ourselves and show our individuality. For this layout I pulled colors from my daughters vest for my starting point. A visit to the scrap bin (using this is my New Year crafting resolution) and through my embellishments brought in some acrylic/transparency hearts & photo corners, spray ink, border punch, foam thickers, and a few buttons, enamel dots, metal studs, & rhinestones. I focused on using 2 stamp sets that I had purchased for this specific topic, and also my roller date stamp. I have 2, and hardly use them. Everything for this layout is from my stash, most has been around for quite some time, though I do not want to admit how long! All patterned papers are left-over scraps. TFL. |
