you make this work so well
i love all the of lovely shades of pink on this layout.
pretty in pink!
I am totally fascinated by this page. I can't stop looking at it and I love it so much... i WILL lift you on this. In fact let me sign something right now saying i will lift you always. :)
We have 3 daughters as well. The pinks you've used here are such a pretty background for an exuberant, beautiful little girl! You can help but grin as you look at this page. I can even "hear" giggles! :-)
girly pink is nothing I will ever be able to scrap (having all boys ;)), but wowza! This is amazing! Her sweet personality just comes through here.
Project - Color Theme : My Baby Girl
If you would have asked me a few years ago if I loved the color pink, I would have laughed at you, but today, I can say with pride that I LOVE the color pink! It is definitely one of my favorite colors to scrapbook with and it is pretty rare that there is not some pink somewhere on my layouts. Pink just reminds me of my three girls, of their sweetness, of their faces, of them as babies and how much I love them. To me it is the color of my family. I guess that is why I use it all the time!
For this page, I spread gesso lightly on a sheet of patterned paper to mute it slightly. Then I used strips of pink patterned paper to fill in the color through the center. Using my sewing machine, I stitched each stripe through the center and then lifted up the edges for a little dimension. For finishing, I used brads from My Minds Eye, a Bella Blvd feather, tabs from Pink Paislee and Crate paper as well as some sequins and glitter for added pink interest.
I just love the chipboard alpha from Bella Blvd. The font is tall and narrow and I love the filled in letters. Plus it is nice to mix up the fonts in my title.
