Project - Shape Up Your Scrapbooking: US 3 by Janna_Werner posted 03/01/13 Galleries: Scrapbooking Such a fun theme! I love shapes… whether it´s triangles, (imperfect) circles, squares or arrows… they are so much fun to work with. For this layout I started with adhering a light paper on top of a dark paper. Both are from Crate Paper´s DIY Shop. I used Studio Calico´s sunburst mask, but instead of spraying onto it, I used a pencil to outline the rays. I had 3 photos I wanted to use and - inspired by the Brady bunch - placed them in a grid, together with three other elements. The photos have a white frame, so I created a colored base for the three non-photo elements as well. I wanted the page to be very colorful and happy, so I used collections from Echo Park (Photo Freedom, Studio Calico (Sundrifter, Classico Vol.3), Crate Paper (DIY Shop)and Amy Tangerine (Ready.Set.Go.). When stamping the date onto the page I stamped the image upside down. It was by accident, but I really liked it. It´s a fun element and just perfect, therefore I added a few upside down words as well. |
