Hi, Christin! Love the way you used the cage die-cut as a mask! And those birds are perfect! Thanks so much for participating in my SOF13 Spread Your Wings and Fly challenge! ♥

Awesome card! I like how you masked the bird cage and sprayed the background instead. Beautiful stamping. The plants at the bottom look good with the background paper just peeking out.

Wonderful card! It has so much impact design-wise!

I love the way you have set the birds ascending in a flock with the one still left close to the cage...is that last one suffering separation anxiety? Almost afraid to taste freedom?

Lovely. I love the way you placed the birds. The masked cage looks great, and the soft color is so restful. TFS. Daria

Exquisite. I love the soft blue you used. Having the lone bird and then the flock further back was really clever. And the sentiment is perfect and looks really great the way you staggered it.

Galleries: Stamping, Cardmaking

This is for Anne's and Anna-Karin's challenges.

I used a Tim Holtz (I think?) die-cut of a birdcage as a stencil, and laid it on some watercolor paper, and then sprayed it with some blue ink, to create a stencil effect.

Then I stamped some Tim Holtz birds (they are all part of the one stamp, so I had to do a bit of masking to separate the one bird).

I stamped some foliage, typed and applied a sentiment, and then layered it all on some pp.
