My husband is great about keeping brochures and things from our travels and I wanted to include one of them on this layout but still be able to access it if we wanted to look through it. To do this I made notches with a Making Memories Notch Tool and slid the brochure underneath the notches. The mini brads are just for show and the brochure is still able to be easily removed. It also serves as part of the page design this way. 
I embossed the cardstock background pieces on this layout using Quickutz Embossing Folders run through the Epic Six Die Cut Machine. So easy and it gives some nice texture to the page.
I had a lot of photos I wanted to use on this layout but they were all 4x6 and from a film camera so I cropped the ones I could and included the rest in Close To My Heart Memory Protector Flip Flaps.
