I am a sucker for zoo themed product. For some reason I just can't get enough of it. The zoo line of products from Imaginisce were so cute and fun and I, of course, had to add them to my zoo-themed stash. :) One of the great things about the line is that although one side of the patterned papers is more what I would call "whimsical" with baby animals and a more "child-like" theme, several of the papers have some great animal prints and more "neutral" themed patterns, great for so many different layouts and projects.
I had these photos from a trip to the National Zoo is Washington D.C. from quite a few years back that I had yet to scrapbook. I loved how the greens and browns from the patterned papers really complimented the photos.
To create the "don't feed the animals" sign, I first cut the sign and grass using the Silhouette Digital Craft Cutter. Then I carefully took a VersaMark pen and only inked one word at a time and stamped each on one of the die cut "signs", sprinkled each with white embossing powder and heat set.
The cute chipboard Friendly Forest animals from Colorbok coordinated nicely with the other accents.
