Most years have 2 - 2 page spreads, so yes 4 pages. It really just depends on how many photo cards I get. :)
I trim down the actual photo cards. It does take a bit of pre-planning to get them all uniform but it's well worth it. I will try to remember to do a video on this in my weekly feature here at 2peas. I have a video on one the creating of one of my layout here: http://nicholmagouirk.typepad.com/things_that_really_matter/2010/11/christmas-card-photos-from-friends-family-a-layout-jillibean-soup-giveaway.html
Wow, Nichol - this is amazing! May I ask how many pages you generally have for each year (looks like 4?)? Also, do you just trim down the photo cards or are you scanning and resizing some of the photos? They appear to be the same size and so uniform. I would love to do this using the Christmas cards we've received. It would be great to have them all in one place in a scrapbook album. What a fabulous idea! Thanks so much!
Project - Christmas Card Photos from Friends & Family Album

This is my most favorite themed album. It contains layouts I created using the Christmas card photos we receive from friends and family every year. I love looking through the album each year and seeing how everyone's families have grown and changed.
Throughout the holiday season I hang the cards we receive up in our home for display. When the holidays are over I tuck them all away in a sheet protector in this album. Then, later on in the year, I scrapbook them and add the pages to my album.
If you're like me and can't bear to toss out the photos you get each year, maybe it will inspire you to do something with the photo cards you receive. Thanks for looking!
