This is such a great way to remember the four legged family members...this layout is so pretty. I actually said "awwwwwww" out loud.
Nichol I love this layout. What collection is the "To Do List" tag from? It would be perfect for a layout of my dog as well :) Thanks you!
What a lovely looking dog and a great layout too. I love how you used so many different colours together, well done.
Nichol this is so pretty. I love how you used the paper strips to compensate for not having enough paper...genius! :) your journaling makes me laugh. we have the same issues! ;)
I do them all at home. I resize them in Photoshop and print on an Epson Photo R1900 Printer. HTH!
Nichol, do you print most of your own wallet (2x3/4x3) photos at home or do you send them somewhere? and if you send them where do you send them to?

Project - Maisy. by Nichol Magouirk posted 12/27/10 Galleries: Scrapbooking I am a big fan of using photos that span time to tell a story. I am also a big fan of using lots of photos to tell a story. This layout about out new-ish yellow lab, Maisy. I used photos from October 2009 (when she joined our family) and August 2010 (my newest photos of her). When I started out I knew I wanted to use photo strips so I resized the horizontal photos to 2x3 and the vertical photos to 3x4 then I simply drug each photo to a new document in PS and created photo strips with a small bit of white space between each. For the background, I only had one sheet each of the patterned papers but I knew my layout/photos really required a 2-page spread. By trimming the papers into “strips”, I could span the 2 pages and it looks completely natural. I also used punched border strips to dress up where each of the patterned papers meet. Thanks for looking! |
