Project - Another Christmas Layout *cutwork* by Scrap4me2 posted 03/30/04 at 03:12 AM Galleries: Packaging Okay - so I'm still scrapping some leftover christmas pics from 2003 … but this one is one of my favourites - my dad has always donned the Santa Hat ever since I can remember. He was a fireman when I was young, and he always played Santa arriving at the Fire Station atop a fire engine dressed as Santa with a sack filled with gifts for the kids - so this picture is exactly as I remember him all those years ago. He still makes a great Santa!!! All c/s is bazzill, Daisy D's elements, Cloud9Designs snap, “dad” on the tag is K&Co Lifes Journey, star brads and the clips on the matted block came from a packaged mens shirt!!! I loved the cutwork article in Helen Williams' book, The Art of Scrapbooking and wanted to try it for myself - its not as hard as it looks!!! I just used plain old embroidery thread.
