I love your card. The flowers and tree remind me of the dogwood trees that we had in Arkansas. Your colors , textures and embellishment make this a definite keepsake and wonderful wall art. Just beautiful

Oh my goodness!! This is stunning! I love the embossed woodgrain! Such beautiful work!

This is absolutely beautiful!! I love the BG you made!! the wood stamp is fabulous---I really thought the BG was PP you had! And putting the flowers on the tree is clever! The ribbons also add such a nice feminine touch!

I can see why this took awhile, Heidi. It was worth the 'wait'! TFS

January's Hoarder's Anonymous Challenge in the stamping forum is to finish up any unfinished projects lying around. I started this wall hanging sometime in the fall.

The bottom layer is kraft cardstock dry embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder from the Decorative Tile set. The patterned paper is from the Linen Stack.

The background for the panel (A2 size) was made by stamping first the Hero Arts Woodgrain background stamp in Antique Linen distress ink. Dry embossed with Darice tree folder. Used foam tool to distress different areas with Tattered rose and antique linen distress inks until I got the look I was happy with.

The embellishments were created by stamping the Hero Arts dogwood stamp with Tattered rose distress ink onto both pink and white paper. These were cut out and distressed, then layered white flower over pink flower and adhered with dimensional adhesive.

Opaque ribbon was applied and a triple bow was tied with American crafts ribbon and embellished with another dogwood flower, adhered with glue dots.

Pierced holes at top, reinforced with tape on the back and added twine to hang.
