Love the frosty leaf.
Hi, Melissa! What a great idea to use a real leaf in the creation of your card! So clever! :-)
What a great idea! Love your leaf with the glitter snow, it looks absolutely wonderful. The background turned out great too, very frosty looking. Thank you for doing my challenge!!
I forgot about my Sticky Stuff! That's a good idea for making snow. I like your leaf. The eyelet borders are pretty. TFS. Daria
Very pretty and what a neat idea to use the leaf!
A very unique and pretty project!

This is my entry for the Let it Snow Challenge.
My ficus tree had a leaf on it that was a vivid yellow color and I decided to use it for this project. First I pressed the leaf (after wiping it clean of course) against the Versamark pad and then heat embossed with clear EP. Well this probably cooked the leaf and turned it's vivid color to more burnt yellow it is now! lol! Next I added Judi Kins Sticky Stuff EP to the leaf crease and heated till it was sticky. Then added Martha Stewart Carrara Marble glitter to the creases and MS Snow glitter. It didn't cover enough so I added more sticky stuff EP and heated underneath so not to blow away and added more glitters.
The BG I stamped Versamark pad onto the black CS and added Sticky Stuff and heated as before. I added MS white flocking (which didn't cover as much as I thought but I did like the light effect it created) and MS crystal fine glitter. Then I stamped the corner with a MS snowflake stamp I have with Colorbox pigment white ink. I trimmed the side edges with a MS lace border punch and just white CS on the top and bottom,
