Galleries: Scrapbooking

These photos are of when my daughter started walking, they were taken last summer. For this layout I tried a few different new things. Firstly I drew colour inspiration from both her outfit and this months mood board. Second I got out my watercolours for the first time since purchasing them. I created some cute little rings in green and pink and decided not to use spray ink at all. Lastly I decided to just go crazy with embellishments and do a cluster @#$%. It was actually a ton of fun to just keep adding without really stopping to nit pick. I finished it off with a little bit of hand stitching. I was happy I got to dig through my stash of paper pieces and embellies.

This layout was inspired by a layout from my scrapbook inspiration pinterest board. The layout was by Ginger Williams her blog is www.truekodakmoments.blogspot.com. When I saw the pictures laid out the way she had them I knew I had the perfect pictures for a first steps layout, and the rounded corners, while not something I would usually do, just seemed to work on my layout too. I decided to just run with it from there.
