When I think about Valentine's Day I see red and pink. So it was an intuitive choice to create this page with pinks. I chose one of my favourites photos of my young friends I took a year ago - they are so sweet and in love with each other! :)
I decided to use a dynamic composition. I cut the base using pale pink Basic Gray paper. I made some misting, masking, stamping - all of these mixed-media actions create my romantic background here. I used a lot of layers under the photo - one of them is a little ledger envelope with a secret journaling card - hidden just for their eyes. The next step here was to put these beautiful Dear Lizzy ‘Neapolitan’ rub-ons! I used them instead of other embellishments. I add some pencil doodlings and colourful splashes made with different Mister Huey's and October Afternoon mists.
You will also find here some Dear Lizzy ‘5th&Frolic’ fabric stickers - I really adore them! I used Lily Bee Design alphabet stickers to create a topic, Dear Lizzy ‘Neapolitan’ papers and Adrienne Looman printable paper - all of these products you will find below.
