Project - remembering my dad by parisina posted 02/21/13 at 04:34 PM Galleries: Scrapbooking This layout is part of a 8x8 album I made for my mom after my dad passed away. It's a picture of his mom and him at age 6. They did not take many pictures in those days, and I believe that one was taken for his mom's funeral. The layout is framed on a 8x8 aqua card stock that I printed with a script pattern in a slightly darker aqua shade suing Tom Holtz distressed ink. Using the same ink, I randomly smudged the edges and than heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. The main background is a neutral patterned paper on which I sprayed aqua mist using a big daisy as a mask. The embellishment are, I believe, from Prima and they were in the clearance area of Hobby lobby so they must be form some old collection… Sorry for the lack of details: I am a very cheap and disorganized scrapbooker and English is not my first language :-( |
