Project - personal touch by melanie bauer posted 06/06/07 at 08:13 AM Galleries: Scrapbooking circles scare the living crap out of me when working on layouts, so the fact that there are so many on this page is a miracle in and of itself! when we moved, i actually lost my dvds with all my digital photos of our past house. not only was i sad, my husband was completely bummed! when i came across a copy of the dvd while unpacking, i was completely overjoyed and wanted to do a layout that featured many of the details that made our past house a home. i still would like to do a mini album, but until then… thanks for looking! -mel :) journaling : A house is truly not a home without the addition of personal touches by those that live there. Those touches can be either handmade or purchased, a gift or something purchased by the owners to make just the right impression. i love that each of these details helped to make our first house such a warm and inviting place to live. handmade roman shades, Andy's never ending stacks of surgery books, an etched design on the garage door - so many details I hope to never forget. |
