I used this layout from Craftysuz as inspiration!

I wrote the journaling in letter form to my sister. (I'm the YOUNGER one!)

Journaling says:

Hi Patsy!
I just decided to scrap this photo of us when we were kids. I've always loved it. It was still when YOU were the BIG sister, and I was the "little" one. Not to many years after this, though, I'd become the BIG one--but you would always remain the OLD one! HaHa! I think I passed you up in height in about 7th grade or so! I remember it was when I had my hair cut into a Pixie cut. You guys tried to tell me how cute it was--yeah right!!
I don't remember as much about this photo as you probably do. I "think" I remember that our shirts were a light pink--and I vaguely remember Mama cutting the little black (or was it blue?) ribbon to put on our buttons. You see, she cut them different! Mine has the cut going a different direction than yours! I wonder if she meant it to be that way, or if she made a mistake on one of them! You probably remember. You probably also remember what else we were wearing, how long it took us to dress, where the photo was taken, and how many shots it took to get a good one!! All I remember was I probably wanted to be outside playing!--and I don't even REMEMBER that--but I remember ME!
We WERE different when we were growing up. Sometimes I wonder how two such different little girls could have been raised in the same house with the same parents. You were always the sweet, quiet, pretty one, and I was the noisy, trouble maker, monkey faced one! (commonly referred to as the clown of the family!) No matter what our differences were when we were growing up, I want you to know that I love you dearly--then AND especially now!
You remain my sounding board, my confidant, my "rememberer" of shared childhood experiences. You are the rock of our childhood--always willing to help me sort things out that I don't remember or can't understand. Thank you for being there and for being my big sis. I love you.

Wow, Deanna, such amazing journaling. What a wonderful relationship you described. I read it with fascination. It's so great to get a little glimpse into everyone's childhood. The photo is stunning and both you and your sister are beautiful. The muted colors and the threaded buttons are a great touch to this wonderful LO.
