Beautiful coloring and a beautiful card! I really love both. Love your background for your card that you did too!
Lovely, just lovely. I like both images, but I have yet to be able to choose one I like better than the other from anybody's entry to this challenge. Thank you for sharing!
The finished card is gorgeous! I am not even a purple/lavender person.
Stacy, I was just about to say that my favorite was the one colored with water-based markers because of the shading. Then I saw your card made with the one colored with alcohol-based markers--gorgeous!
The wax-paper resist background is just perfect, and I love the way you mounted white on white. Beautiful card! TFS. Daria
I am going to check out this wax paper technique...as it is beautiful on your card.
Love the dahlias...especially the centers of the blooms!
That Dahlia image is lovely. I'm glad my challenge got you to try a new technique that you really enjoyed. Your background came out lovely. Thanks for playing.

Love this pretty Dahlia image from Pickled Potpourri Designs. I used two challenges as inspiration in creating this card…
WF14 Color Me This & WF14 To All the Techniques I've Loved Before
I colored both images using markers. The image on the left was colored using Alcohol based Promarkers, and the image on the right was colored using water based markers.
I used the image colored with the Promarkers for my card.
I used the Wax Paper Resist technique to create the background mat for my card. Although I have been crafting for more than 10yrs. I have never used this technique before… but it won't be the last time I use it! Love it!
I masked a sentiment from Red Rubber Designs' Gift of Friendship stamp set, added some glitter enamel dots, & lot's of foam tape to complete this card.
Thanks so much for looking!
