Wow, what a great job you did with your stencils. I love the scene you created.
Wonderful art project. Love the quilts on the line. You shading of the sun on the grass is something I would never think of, but you have done it so well. I want to go and visit this spot.
Love your style! This is such a cute scene. How clever of you to move the sun mask to help with the shading. I love the bricks on the house too, they really make a difference. Wonderful job in one layer!
Fantastic card! What a wonderful folk art style!
This is such a fun card! I love the bright colors! Well done!
Nice card. I love the way the trees look and also the little house with the bricks drawn in. Those bricks give the house so much more dimension and interest.

I created this card for the “All In One” SOF13 Challenge and then realized it fits the criteria for the “Stencil Time” challenge as well.
I started by making 3 stencils from scrap paper. I cut out the grass hill, clouds and sun. Then I went to work with my colorbox inks and a sponge and sponged in the grass first in 4 different shades of green. Then placed my clouds and sponged all around with a light blue and finally put my sun stencil down. I started in just the tip of the corner and moved the stencil out a mm at a time, so there'd be less ink as I moved out, thus creating the glow effect and not such a hard line as in the grass and clouds.
Once my background was in place, I put my scene together using “Summer Hills” by Papertrey Ink. I copic colored everything and drew in the little bricks on the house.
This was such a fun challenge, my first card using ONLY the white cardstock of the actual cards and I've also never made my own stencils before. So, I learned a lot and had fun! Thank you to the hosts for both these challenges! :)
