There were a few comments and questions, which I will try to address:
1. The 12x12 containers are available at WalMart and they run about $8 each. I did wipe my store out when I bought all these, but they should have more in by now!
2. I collect frogs thus the butler frog (a gift from DH for my birthday). I used to have tons of them and had them displayed all over. I decided to pare down my collection and gave almost my whole collection away to a young boy who loves frogs too - the look on his happy little face was priceless! I now only have a few very specail frogs collected while traveling or given to me by friends and my close friends.
3. The black drawer units, ah yes, they were a challenge! I found one at Homegoods (one of my favorite stores and a place I often shopped for clients), but needed several. I went to every store in my area (some as far as an hour away), weekly, until I found ones that matched and were not scratched. CAWoman was with me when I bought the last ones, ona a trip home from a great scrapping class (tell me that wasn't a great day!). There were not expensive (relatively speaking), but hard to find. It was a great sense of accomplishment when I got them all!
4. My daughter, talented as she is, does not have any art displayed anywhere. She IS an artist, but is not (yet) motivated to do what it would take to sell her work. I have always encouraged her to do her work and I would help her market it (mareting's my background), but she is not interested. Perhaps she feels about her art the way I feel about crafting - it would no longer be fun if I did it for a living?
5. That chair was a great find! Hey Judy, remember that day? She and I were shopping about an hour away from home and we were in her DH's VW bug (with the top down, of course!) and I spotted this chair at Homegoods (see, I told you it was my favorite store!). I could not believe the price when I saw it and asked Judy to stay and "guard" it while I got a staff person to assist us. The staffer looked at the tag, said the price was right and it was mine! It was Mother's Day weekend and would not fit into Judy's car (I still say we could have tied it on top, but Judy was not going for it! LOL), so DH drove back with me the next day and we picked it up in our truck. Any guesses on the price? Hint: It's just like the ones Pottery Barn and Crate & Barrel sell.
6. Thanks for the compliments on the organizing. I LOVE organizing and it's what I do for a living - yeah!
7. Karen, sorry I did not see this sooner. I would have loved to attend your crop today!
