The blue and red are so unexpected here, yet they totally complement the photo. You have a great eye for doing heritage layouts! TFS
This is beautiful...what a greay family photo. I love how the bird embellie looks almost waxy, or embossed...
It's beautiful! I adore heritage pages. I love how rich this feels. <img border='0' src='/images/icons/smile.gif'>
oh, I really like this page, love the papers you used and colors.Great heritage layout, love the way you put it together.
I love heritage pages and this one is no exception. Your colors choices are beautiful and blend well with the old photo.
Superb colors with that sepia photograph. I wouldn't have thought to put them together. They work beautifully.

DH's mother and grandparents. I think this was probably 1936 or 1937; MIL was born in '32. All the papers and elements except the wordart are Rhonna from here at 2 Peas. Wordart by D. Puess. This works for the “paperclip” challenge; I made the swirls along the bottom and right side of the photo so that some were over and some were under the photo. Journaling font is Gatsby LF. TFL!
