love your color combinations, window treatments, decor, and your open space. looks relaxing & not "full to the brim".

GREAT space!! Love your window treatment. This is a room that
would inspire creativity! Fresh & fun!

It really does look like a happy place to play in!! Your counter space is amazing and so is your window treatment. did you buy or make that?

Love the window treatment and color!!

I love the window treatment. I'm looking for some ideas for the window in my craft room, and I love what you did!

Amazing job! Your creativity really shows in your room. Being frugal is the way to go you get a better result in the end.

I NEEDED my scrapbook room to be a cheerful retreat! My husband lost his job 2 1/2 years ago, so since vacations are out right now, I decided to make me a ‘happy place’!

I started with the modular storage units that I got at Michael's (40% off). I have four units right now, but hope to get two more. I painted the room a bright color and accented it with my favorite color…turquoise. I had the comforter and a sheet from twenty years ago! I used to sheet to cover my cornice board over the windows, which my husband built (from leftover wood) from an idea I got off the Sealah Tape website.

The workspace is made of interior doors, which my husband happened to have from installing new ones at a house.

The chairs and metal hanging rods came from IKEA, and the turquoise-lidded storage containers came from Lowe's.

I had the shelves that had once been in my son's room. And, the shelving unit next to my cricut was actually an old shoe shelf that was in my other son's closet. I found the perfect over-the-door hangers at TJ Maxx, which I can hang my pages on when finished.

All total, I probably have $200-$250 in the room….not counting my scrapbooking supplies, of course!! haha
